Commentary & Exegesis

I am both a fiction author and a writer of Christian theological commentaries. My fiction explores themes of horror and suspense for all audiences, while my non-fiction focuses on scripture and the historic Christian faith. I hold a seminary-based Masters of Theology from Grace Bible Institute and am completing an accredited Associate of Divinity through Christian Leaders College.

Taking inspiration from C.S. Lewis and Charles Williams—two Inklings who wrote both theology and imaginative literature—I have chosen a similar path: to create stories and to write serious works of biblical study.

The horror genre has deep roots in the Christian faith. One of the most enduring Gothic novels, Dracula, was written by Bram Stoker, a Protestant Christian who wove biblical imagery and moral symbolism into every page. Even modern masters like Stephen King have done the same. Novels such as The Stand and Desperation are saturated with Christian themes and rich in biblical theology, yet remain accessible to all readers. While I do not consider myself anywhere near their league, like these authors, I believe faith and story can coexist powerfully, speaking to readers wherever they are on their journey.

Grounded in the primary doctrines of the early Christian Creeds and the teachings of the church fathers (patristic and ante-Nicene), my theological approach in secondary matters is King James Only, dispensational, and Pauline—always seeking to “rightly divide the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV).

Whether you are a Christian, a theology student, or simply curious, I invite you to explore these writings and join the conversation.

Who Are the Wild Olive Branches?

AN EXPOSITORY COMMENTARY ON ROMANS 9 THROUGH 11

For centuries, Romans chapters 9 through 11 has sparked debates on predestination, election, and Israel’s place in God’s plan.

Some claim Paul teaches that God predestines certain people for salvation and others for damnation, or that Israel has been cast aside and replaced by the Christian church. But what if none of this is what Paul truly meant? This verse-by-verse commentary challenges traditional Christian interpretations.

Drawing from historical context and the full counsel of scripture, this study invites readers to reconsider Paul’s words and gain a deeper understanding of the Bible.
